They have 1 copy left @ $35.95 CAD + $15 CAD shipping to USA. Exchange rate + CC fee brings the total to just shy of $55 USD. Sadly, that's a bit too expensive for me right now which is too bad since I really want this game!

i found a few copies available from small local game stores with an internet presence by searching on the product key in google "taluva rgg311". That said, I bought the last copy from Get Your Fun On (just arrived), and the copy I saw from Asheville's Blitzkrieg Games looks like it got sold this week too. Hmmm, this game's availability seems to have definitely dried up recently based on my searching. Good luck to anyone searching.
My first impulse game purchase based on dwindling availability, but I have a hunch I'm going to like this one...

I picked up the one from Craving for a Game. Glad I got it when I did. This needs a reprint ASAP. Fantastic game

Whoa. And my wife thought I was insane when I purchased a backup copy last year.
We play this all the time, and the primary copy is showing some wear from carrying it around to play at lunch.
It just amazes me when any game goes out of print and the prices jump!

This game seems thoroughly impossible to get a hold of, tried dozens of places online.

Taluva is currently out of print at the publisher (Rio Grande). A reprint date has not yet been announced.

Levaste wrote: This game seems thoroughly impossible to get a hold of, tried dozens of places online. It's not impossible, but I do empathize with this sentiment. As this title is highly regarded, one must simply make someone holding a copy the right offer in order to part with it... or front the cash to see it reprinted.
It might be expensive, but it is certainly not impossible if the title is that important to your gaming life (and it really is a gem, certainly).
Everything is negotiable.

It seems to be available here for $25.45.
http://www.grandio.com/Default.aspx?ItemID=RGG311 I'd buy it but they only have one postage option to Australia that costs over $100!

I have attempted to buy some, shipping them to my uncle in the states for $0 (vs $100+ UPS to Canada). Let's see if the order goes through. Cross your fingers -- and thanks for the tip!

You must have bought a few of them to get the free shipping!

I ordered Taluva from these people a week or so ago. A few days later they e-mailed me saying that it was out of stock. Now LennyS tells us that they still haven't edited the webpage so that we can all know that they don't have the game.
I'm mad. Why?
I set up an account with them. I gave them my name, address, phone #, e-mail and credit card number! and got nothing in return except a terse e-mail. Who knows where my info may wind up!

Who knows where my info may wind up! Sadly this is common. There are many sites on the internet where you can buy a book or game or something else, then find days later it is sold out, yet months later their website is not updated.

I, too, got an e-mail telling me no joy.
Grandio.com is officially on my shit list, not that they will care, I guess.

That's ok, you're doing better than me; I ordered several games that they "have", and I've received no e-mail about Taluva or any other availability...yet my credit card has been charged for $41.50, so clearly I'm getting SOMETHING, but I've no idea what.
What a bunch of assholes. I'm torn between immediately calling and bithching them out and just waiting to see what arrives in my mystery package...either way they, thankfully, have a return policy.
Bad Business.
