I had a situation with one schocktruppler in OW and John Mc Neal in OW, both on the same Path.
In comes a Delta, wanting to throw grenade.
On the throwing of grenade, Schocktruppen triggers OWattack.
We ruled: OWattack of Schocktruppler is first resolved, then McNeal can OWattack Shocktruppler. Keeps in theme with ActionfilmStandoff and such.

Is there some official ruling of that?

Am I a man or am I a muppet? If I'm a muppet then I'm a very manly muppet!

We decided Overwatch did NOT chain... but I don't know what the official ruling is.

That's a good question.

Just looked into the rulebook:

- Grenades never trigger OW, only actual movement does
- OW is only triggered when an enemy enters a circle on the same path as the character with OW - OR - if an enemy character enters a circle next to a character on OW
- no matter how many characters from one side are on OW, for each step of movement only one OW is triggered (if the enemy moves further for another circle, and you have a second character on OW, you can trigger him, of course, but only one OW attack for each circle of movement)

But if your group is okay with what you do, go ahead. Having fun eliminates the standard rules.

as far as the grenande goes, i thought an action can also trigger ow.
by the way, we had mighty fun with the "stielhandgrenate". it is usually called StielhandgrAnate round here.

According to the revised rules actions like grenades do trigger OW (p 26).

OW is an attack which is also an action, therefore I think the OP is right.
