A short word of praise for Mattel who provided a replacement bag of purple tiles for my Educational Insights version of Travel Blokus.
I bought a copy of Travel Blokus back in October. Put it on the pile of games in the closet and forgot about it. On opening it recently I found that the two bags of purple tiles were the same - two single tiles, etc.
I wrote to Educational Insights who informed me that Mattel were now handling customer service issues with the product.
I called Mattel's customer service and they were very helpful and sent me the missing tile set within a week.
The big game manufacturers don't often get much kudos for their customer support, so I wanted to acknowledge the nice job they did for me.

Hey, any chance you have an extra cross-shaped purple piece? My nephew lost mine and Mattel wants to charge me $15 for a whole new set... apparently they won't sell individual pieces...
