We just played our second game of Tongiaki at lunch. The tile distribution was really, really strange -- we ended up with a single land mass, with the sole exception of one new settlement I founded on the very last turn after basically being wiped off the map for the third time.

Red and purple both got wiped off the map a few times. This was a five player game, although I think green (who won) had already started removing boats before I took the picture, and I think orange (who was either third or fourth) had already cleared their pieces as well. Yellow bulked up on Tonga in the first few turns and had a massive exodus that popped beaches four or five times.

All in all, a crazy, brutal game with a lot of failed journeys and intentional murders.
