As we all know, the wooden dice in this game get pretty grungy quite quickly.
Klaus's post today got me thinking, others have done custom dice, why not Pickomino? The dice would be nice plastic:

The cost would vary depending on how many folks joined in. This is the Chessex pricing per die:
10-25 dice: $1.00 per side
26-99 dice: $0.75 per side
100-199 dice: $0.60 per side
200-499 dice: $0.50 per side
Essentially:
1-2 of us, it's around $8 per person plus shipping.
3-12 of us, it's $6 per person plus shipping.
12-24 or so, and it's $5 per person plus shipping.
25+, and it's $4 per person plus shipping.
That's assuming one set of 8 per person, no reason anyone couldn't order more if they wanted extras. Everyone is welcome, it just costs a bit more in shipping.
Shipping I'm guessing would probably be $3 each or so, for a padded envelope and plain postage stamps. International may be as high as $7. I would confirm it all before finalizing the order, of course. I'd collect the money, order the dice from Chessex, then mail them out to each other person.

I think I am missing something in the pricing. You say for 100+ dice it comes out to $0.60 per side. Wouldn't that make each die cost $3.60, making it $28.80 for a full set of 8?
Or did I misunderstand the pricing per side?

For our use, we only need one custom side, the worm replacing the six, so it's $1 per die, then 75 cents per die, etc.

Yep that was 12 Power Grid maps back to back over two days. Worth doing, but possibly not in such a concentrated burst.
Ooh yes, now a little to the left - my nose is itchy. No, no the other left! Now what colour is 12 supporter badge going to be I wonder?

I can even be a hub for orders in Paris to spare you multiple shipments and reduce costs.

Of course, International is welcome. I should have put that. International postage cost is somewhere around $2 - $4 more expensive. Depends exactly how heavy these are, and if they rule bubble envelopes as oversize (which I'm thinking they will).
