This will not be a 'WHAM, BAM, THANK YOU MA'AM' kinda game report. This is a quiet respectful reiteration of an old classic being played by family.

Tonight after breaking this game out for my 4 1/2 year old to play with me... my dad decided to give it a try. He wiped the floor with me. Then I played my Mom... she's not heavy duty into games either... she wiped the floor with me. My wife was tired or she would have... wiped the floor with me. I played about a dozen games myself and I won two of them.

My initial excuse was that the pogs you use on the board are black and red... I played black and they blended into the background of my couch, my dad's t-shirt and a light yellowish coloured banana-wood table. I think that excuse probably sucked quite a bit but I did lose concentration of where I was placing my pogs and it kinda played against me.

This game is really kinda easy while being deceptively hard. That is contrary to the way it sounds but I mean... get four in a row... how hard should it be... you have a 7 x 6 grid... lots of space... you should be able to keep track of it all. But you can't always... you develop a tunnel-vision with the places you play... you're focused on the areas you want and it's hard to pull yourself back to watch the entire play field.

Anyways, this is an excellent copy and I really have to thank whomever donated theirs to the thrift store... I really enjoyed my weekend playing with my family and I am going out tomorrow to grab another one for my mom and dad to take home and play themselves.

Excellent Win/Win situatio0n.
