It seems very good.
If you don't go to the end it is possible to the sources?

Hi mates!

I am working on my own module for some days now which is also an experiment for myself since it would be my first ever program. I am writing it in Python 3 and you can check of its development here:
http://code.google.com/p/roronline/
I must aware you that it is in a very early stage. First I want to make it to work offline with admin commands. Secondly I want to implement players and privileges and a text based online version (most probably using telnet). Third, GUI.

Besides you can also check my VASSAL module here:
http://code.google.com/p/rorpbvm/
Most recent version (r20) has some minor bugs which will be fixed (but now the python project has the first priority). VASSAL becames damn slow when moving legions/fleets due to a trigger event on them which will be removed for next versions. However I can recommend it for online play until a better solution came out: We also use it with our friends.

Good luck for your development Guillaume!

Nice !

I'd better start coding my project again, or otherwise everyone will finish theirs before mine

Good luck to you too, Adam ! Python is a good language !

I would be tempted to play this, even though the interaction around the table (including an informal system where you mimed drawing a dagger from your toga to assassinate someone -- the first player to get the whole thing out is the one committed to the attempt and its consequences, leading to some very interesting bluffing situations where several people try to bluff one of the others into taking the gamble).

I can't think of anything that could possible simulate that in an online game short of using webcams (and I don't own a webcam).
