Dalmuti uses a different deck? Would it work in the same manner as the game mentioned in the thread, i.e. loser of the round has to do something? Thank you!
The only innovation of The Great Dalmuti seems to be its custom card deck in which the number of cards decreases with rank. (The other games are played with standard playing cards, ignoring suits.)
Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think its ever pretended to be an original game.
We used to play Tien Len sometimes with trading rules like the great dalmuti. Its a way to spice things up, especially since we didn't keep track of score.
