Yesterday I bought a copy of Zombie Fluxx (v1.2), and now I checked the cards against a cardlist which was mentioned in the thread: "How many "real" cards are there in the box?" to make sure everything was in the box. I found that instead of the "Ad card for ZOMBIES!!! board game" I got the "Zombie Boss promo card". Very nice! I'll take a playable card over an ad card any day. Oh, and everything else was there as it should be...

On another note; the Zombi Fluxx Version 1.1 cannot be published for the first time in 2009 (BGG-Zombie Fluxx-Versions), since the one I bought has the years 1997-2008 listed on the box... It does however feature the same boxart as the v1.1. So if anyone who has that version could do a doublecheck on the year(s) printed on their box, they can fix the listing.

I haven't tried any of the Fluxx games yet, including this one. So I'm looking forward to trying it out within the next couple of days or so, if I can persuade my wife that is

Zombie Fluxx version 1.0 appeared in 2007, ver. 1.1 in 2009.

The 1997-2008 dates are the copyright dates for all versions of Fluxx, up to that point. The first version of Fluxx appeared in 1997.

I stand corrected.

What publishing year would v1.2 have then?

Your box actually says v1.2? I didn't know there was that version.

At the Looney Labs site they have just updated the Zombie Fluxx Card List page. As you mentioned, the replaced the ad card with the Zombie Boss, and changed the coloring of the rules icons.
