I had the distinct pleasure of being able to demo this game with the South Arlington Gamers at Borders in Arlington, TX. The plan to demo it was part of Eagle Games/Gryphon Games Wingman Program. The plan involves demoing games several times a month so this will be the first in several session reports about demos I have done.

Sneaks and Snitches is a game of analyzing what you think your opponents will do and trying to pick the opposite. Each player represents a group of high class criminals set on stealing the finest jewels and information as well as priceless antiques and valuable documents.

The first demo was a three player affair with the daring criminals stealing mostly jade jewelry. Michael, Matthew and I played with Matthew winning his first game. Michael and I predicted each others moves too well.

The second demo added Jimmy. This changed the play and added an extra location. Michael won the second game, focusing on stealing information and rubies.

The third demo added yet another player, Nora. The group think was overwhelming as Nora skated to a quick win. Matthew and Michael predicted each others moves as did Jimmy and I.

The fourth demo involved Steffan, Donnie, Grady, Rod and Nora. Donnie claimed the win!

The group discussed strategies for the game and how predicting each others moves was becoming easier. They noted that the 5 player set up was the most fun, but they all enjoyed the 3 and 4 player set ups as well. Despite the bouts of group think where all the players in one four player game snitched at the same location, a lot of fun was had.

At one point a player remarked, "wouldn't it be funny if I placed both guys at location A?" This was followed by some laughs and a bad Joe Pesci impersonation of "hey, boss, I'm going to B, tell the cops I'll be at B."
