Been playing more, and have the more technical, tricky questions

1. How do mists and the far away rampart work? It says that normal movement rules apply, so would a skeleton from the foreground move to the close rampart and then to the far rampart as the mist action, "move one unit from a foreground to the rampart containing the mist counter?"

2. When you upgrade a unit to a priest in the barracks, where does the priest go? Does he stay in the barracks, or appear in the courtyard? The rules say that priests are treated as heroes from the base game, but the base game (Valley reprint) rules state that "the heroes may only move alongside wall sections and to/from the courtyard." So per the rules, they could not leave the barracks if they started in it, and technically can't even move to the statue.

3. Do units in the camp count as "on the board" for the purposes of spells, or does "on the board" mean literally the board, so that the camp card does not qualify?

4. Do the phantoms used for hallucinations still count as "on the board?" So could I move them to the alter of death using the ghostly carriage, or move them to block a different action with a future casting of hallucinations?

5. What exactly gives extra skeletons from the totem? Is it just guys dying in the hospital, or would using stakes to die killing vampires also activate it? How about panic cards like dessertion from the walls? Are there any other times that totem would activate?

6. Lets say there are 3 dragon phantom segments and the panic level is 3. If the defender uses the consecrated barbican card with 4 council markers, would the phantom deal 4 or 3 damage to the gate?
