I've been attending the World Boardgaming Championships for about 15 years. Last year, I spent a lot more time open gaming than playing tournament games. I regretted not having set more games UP (although, the WBC library is damned big, anyway).

So ... I thought I'd start up a thread - the intent isn't just for games involving me; but rather, where anyone can post games they'd be interested in.

For me - I'm an omnivore - I can do Euros, Rail games, AT and wargames -- I'd have no problem going from We the People to Age of Steam to Prophecy.

As we get closer, I'll eventually put up games I'd like to see hit the table (and, since I drive, there's really no limit to what I can bring) -- for now, let's just see what other interest is out there.

Does it make sense to do this as a geeklist and link it?.

Sure it makes sense! It's also a great idea, and an opportunity to connect with other people who are going to be in attendance that might share a game, two, or more with you.

I think so. Make sure you update this as well as the WBC guild too.

Yes, it makes sense to do this as a linked Geeklist. Some folks may not catch this thread, but if they are subscribed to games that people list in the Geeklist, it will come up in their notifications.

Happy to hear about Dragon Valley - I wanted to try this at Origins but could never coordinate to get an open seat. I want to try before I buy . . .

Great idea! I was looking in the WBC forum for someone to try out my deluxe Merchant of Venus set.

Why not bring it by the the Merchantof Venus Tournament?
