Subject: Sliding a pawn down to a 1/4 cube space rss

I understand that a pawn may be slid to make room for a cube. But can a cube be placed in such a way that a pawn is slide down to a 1/4 cube space? (in other words there is only enough room for 1 pawn on the surface.)

Certainly, a long as the piece you're placing is fully supported underneath, you could place it in such a way that there's only 1 available spot for a climber to be in on the block that's being partially covered (for example, if you half-covered the thin side of the smallest block type). This is only really relevant if the "up" side of the piece being covered is grey, though.

It is also possible that pushing a pawn across its surface to a quarter-cube space could block an opportunity to move up from the now-covered half of the surface.
