I noticed an Ingenious puzzle on the designer's website ( link here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/weblink/30876/einfach-genial-kn... ). I was wondering if there was a German-speaking user who could confirm the directions for me. (Tried a web translator, but the results didn't make sense to me)

Is the goal to take the different 21 pieces and put them together in the pictured configuration with no overlaps?

My German's a little rusty, but yes I think that's the gist of it. Thanks for the link, I will try the puzzle later.

Not from the German, but because I've tested some related problems (with dominos) from Reiner, that's tje aim. If it's like the other such problems I've seen, the solution will be unique.
