My mother-in-law unearthed a children's game the other day -- green molded plastic mountain that is on a post with a curved base so the mountain rocks back and forth. Plastic monkeys in red and blue that can be placed on flat spots on the mountain; clearly the object is to place the monkeys without making the mountain tip too far and knock all the monkeys off the mountain. We don't have the game box or the rules -- anyone know what the name of this game might be? A copy of the rules? I've tried to search BGG for games with Monkey in the title, and that wasn't working.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Sounds a lot like Penguin Pile-Up with a different theme.

Kinda-sorta how old is it? (To the extent you can tell without the rules or the box, which may not be that great.)

Based on the ages of my now young-adult niece and nephew, probably late 1980s or 1990s.

The game play does seem likely to resemble Penguin Pile-Up. If we can't identify this game for sure, I expect we'll use the penguin rules.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
