I don't know if anyone plays this anymore or not, but I just picked up a set and after playing have one thing I'm really stuck on.
I have the initiative. In a previous attack, the card in the front row directly opposite of my card in the front row was rendered exhausted, so my card is active, and the card in front of me is exhausted. My questions are:
Can I attack it, even though it's exhausted? The rules are very clear that you cannot attack a stunned card, but what about exhausted?
If I attack it, does it do defensive damage back, or not due to it's exhausted state?
Thanks for any help you can give!

Yes you can attack it. No it does not change damage in any way.

Not only can you attack an exhausted character, it's extremely common. That's because characters being attacked will often exhaust to pay for some power right before the actual fight.

The way you phrased your questions causes me to wonder... You know that the position of your characters relative to the opponent's characters doesn't mean anything, right? It doesn't matter if they're in the same column.
