If Sherlock Holmes must draw the top alibi card each time he is moved, does that mean he will have collected 4 alibi cards by the end of the game?

Yes...but...

Just keep in mind that whenever Holmes is moved, an alibi card is drawn by whoever chose him. So while 4 cards are drawn, they are not necessarily all drawn by the same person. Moving Holmes and collecting alibi cards can be quite the valuable tool for Jack.

Unless the game ends before the 8th round, of course.

Thanks guys - my wife and I are about to play our first game and I must admit that I have never had so much difficulty getting my head around the various strategies for a game. The rules are so simple, but reading some of the posts on the forum about strategy, etc is doing my head in!

Hopefully it will become much clearer with some game time - which, is of course what normally happens. We were very intimidated when we started to play Arena II but it very quickly became one of our favourite games.

Good luck and enjoy! This game is tied with Combat Commander for my all time favorite.
