Hi everyone
Me and my girlfriedn played the first session. We quite enjoyed it but we found a bit problematic to move the pieces on the board. Sometime certain area got really crowded and despite we stacked the tokens on top of each other with the corresponding weapons there wasn't enough space. Is it a problem that other people ecountered? Any solution or suggestion?
moreover a small question regarding the rules: using 2 area weapons on the same area will sum the amount of dice dealt to the aliens?
Thanks everyone

Can't speak to the new edition but with the earlier ones many people took to creating their own - larger - boards.

One thing to keep in mind is that really crowding the green things together in one room is both overkill usually and also just begging the crew to wipe you out with a good area weapon. You want just a little more than is needed to have a good chance of taking out the targets.

Also, from experience so far. If you've got that many green things all together then the rest of the ship may be fairly empty. Allowing the crew to get around easier. Moat of the rooms are just big enough to hold one stack of each type, crew, adult, baby, fragments and/or eggs. Though a few notable rooms cant.

One quick and simple solution is to have index cards with the room names printed on them handy, or just jott down as needed, and stack the excess on that card till combats over.

As for multiple weapons. Yes. The damages are combined. Its the only way for crew to have a chance sometimes if they pull alot of weak effects early on.

This can be a problem, but not always. A neat thing about the game is that depending on how things unfold, either side may want to concentrate or disperse their folks. Off-board areas - the index card idea - is a a great solution. The really big stacks don't last long, since that's where all the action is...

Yup, assuming that one of the weapons has already been tested.

The Gas Grenade does not stack damage in the same round... if damage is its destiny
