When setting up u have to put a combo of monster & treasure card together in each room for the different levels...but I don't have enough monsters & treasure cards to fill every room? I've checked the inventory & our game is correct...are some rooms left empty?? please? Thanks!

Hi, is it monsters or treasures you are short of? Some rooms do not get a treasure, I think they call them the chambers.

You should have enough treasures for one in every room. Remember, chambers do not get treasures. There aren't enough monsters for this though. Monsters will need to be reshuffled.

Yep, one monster and one treasure in each room. Three monsters and no treasures in each chamber. If you have the number of cards as indicated in the inventory you should be fine.

Somebody check me on this... but I used to have the old game with the fold out map.. and that game had you set up the monster and treasures before starting the game.. you placed them in the rooms on the map.

The later editions just made piles for the different level monsters and treasures... so you drew a monster when you went into a room. If you killed it you took a treasure and marked the room with a grave marker... if you didn't kill it, you put a number marker in the room and set the monster off to the side with a number marker on it that matched the one in the room.

The later editions didn't need a monster for every room or chamber because you drew from the deck and could re-shuffle. The first edition, if I remember right (I was pretty young), did have enough monsters for every room.

I obviously haven't cleared anything up... but if you are short some cards.. ad some new ones that you can make with cut up index cards... toss in some new ones and old ones so you don't know what the index card monster or trap is.
