So this has been on my "want to get" radar for a while, and after playing it, it quickly moved to a "foaming at the mouth, kill all who get in the way" game I would like to purchase. So, every retailer is out of stock, and I was surprised to not find an existing thread discussing a possible reprint?

Thanks for all the replies. I'm worried that if I got a copy it would only exacerbate things when I played my copy with other new players, who would then like their own copy

I've checked out plenty of threads on here to see that one of the designers is no stranger to talking strategy about his own game. I was hoping he could tell us about a possible reprint?
Edit Aug. 4th 2011 - Thanks again to those that replied. I was able to get 1 of 2 remaining copies at bigmovesgames.com (thanks Rod). Along w/ $120 in games I wasn't looking to get, but I had to get the free shipping .
I'm still interested in hearing from the designers about a possible reprint. This game is just too good to just fade away.

This may be dated, but as of an April post, Z-Man was out-of-stock with no plans to re-print Endeavor...this kind of surprised me. It's such a good game and seems to be reasonably popular...I'm guessing that maybe it didn't sell as well as expected???

It's not really up to us whether Endeavor gets reprinted or not. I'm hopeful it might happen, but I can't promise anything. I'm trying to focus on new game ideas and Endeavor expansion ideas at the moment.
I love that someone was frothing at the mouth to get a copy though.

Thanks for the reply, I really believe that this is an EXCELLENT game and deserves more praise. If Z-man is the one to "pull the trigger" on a reprint and they're not wanting to, I guess they haven't sold as well as expected? Which is hilarious since it has sold out EVERYWHERE including there own website's store.
I saw the session report thread w/ the "new/expansion" map and thought that this may be why the game wasn't due for a reprint? Because you might have been planning an "upgrade" for a reprint to include a smaller 3 player map. But I guess this isn't the case and the new map is for an expansion, which I'm excited about.

I played this over the weekend and it went into my "must have category."
I really dont get why a publisher would choose not to reprint a game that is literally sold out everywhere. You cant tell me the sales were poor, and then in the same breath tell me that I cant get it anywhere because every place that has it is sold out. It just doesnt make sense.
This game is on a number of best games lists, is highly rated on BGG, and with every store sitting empty, you'd figure that even a small print run would generate sales based on stores restocking alone... I dont get it.
Anyhow, I am tryin to pick up a copy out of the marketplace as we speak.

The sale of Z-Man Games to Filosofia may, or may not, have an impact on deciding to reprint Endeavor. With over 4000 BGG users owning a copy and almost 500 wanting a copy, you'd think there is a market for a reprint of the game.
I imagine that an expansion would move that decision process along and make a reprint of the base game a necessity to go with the expansion.
So, Jarratt, you and Carl get working!
Meanwhile, I'll hoard my copy of the game and try and get to the table more often.

For those wondering, I spoke with Zev who mentioned that a reprint is being considered but there is no firm date at all. Since they have a pretty heavy catalog to sift through, I'd say just hang tight and be patient.
