I saw a website this morning advertising new copies of Gulo Gulo, at fairly reasonable prices... unusual I thought, but a quick scan on boarggame prices indicates a couple of places are taking back orders.
Dragon Talon games has it listed as due July 2011, which clearly it isn't (since they're sold out). http://www.dragontalongames.com/productdisplay.aspx?pid=557
Rio Grande's website still says out of print....
any further word?

Alright 2012 ... Let's get this year started!

I think some online sites default to back order on out of stock items, whether they think they can get them if not. It doesn't mean more are coming.

This site has just started selling items (instead of renting them) so I can't imagine that they're resetting to default.

On the other hand, it may be that they had a case of old copies sitting under the stairs for the last 6 years....

A reprint would be nice. Especially since RGG has had Gulo Gulo prominently listed in the flyer they put in every game for several years now.

Shockingly, Boards and Bits still had a copy of this in stock earlier this week, I had thought it was gone from online retailers

I suspect that was an old copy found somewhere. I've seen that happen a few times. Unfortunately when they got copies of Ticket to Ride: Switzerland in stock I thought that it meant a reprint, and didn't grab one of the copies immediately.

He's got 4 there now, so he's getting them from somewhere. Last time I checked he was out of stock so the number is changing.
Funagain also says that they are restocking, so it does look like a reprint.

What's a good price for the game? Hopefully I can get it somewhere in Canada.

Looks like about $25 US ... . http://www.boardgameprices.com/game.aspx?id=101081
Not sure quite what the Canadian doller looks like against the rest of the US (sic).
