All I know is:
There will a new resource, a new town location and the expansion will add a 5th player.

I hope this is going to be language-indpendent (barring the rules) so that I can pick up a copy. I'd happily wait for a rules translation

Jeez... are you trying to kill me?! I hope this isn't a joke, because that would be the best news of the year for me! I adore Stone Age and the 5th player is something my group really missed in this game!

Brilliant Fantastic News - what an Essen!
First Flash Point: Fire Rescue and now a Stone Age expansion!
Edit: Quote: new buildings I hope the new buildings are not simply the Spielbox new huts.

Leiste would be translated as new board, I'm guessing? Google translated Schmuck as jewelry, is ornament more correct?
Sounds cool, much like Pillars expansion.

Any word if this is a promo-only, or if it will be sold in stores/OLGS?

Reading through this interview with Christian Herman here: http://zuspieler.de/stein-auf-stein/, and considering his fan made expansion Schmuck und Handel (fan expansion for Stone Age), I believe that if a Stone Age expansion is in the works, then inspiration for this has come from this fan-made expansion - perhaps the expansion will be credited to Christian Herman and 'Michael Tummelhofer'?

After reading the interview and the article at cliquenabend, I'm a little sceptical. First, HiG did not announce anything. And second it don't beleive that HiG refuses the expansion and then use the ideas to publish it all alone. We'll see.

I must admit, I'm a little sceptical also. I am hoping that HiG is planning an expansion (which I am surprised has not come sooner), but I have a feeling that they are not planning to do this anytime soon.
