So I'm in the house, I move and the next tile is a room with no doors except the door I walked through.

Do zombies attack? If so (there were 3 people playing with no "tools"), there are 8 or so zombies vs. us with no enhancements. We're all running.

I don't think zombies should attack, b/c while the room is a dead end, THERE IS A DOOR (the one we came through).

Question 2:

Why fight? You only risk 1 point if you run, and you don't gain anything if you fight, do you? I think you should almost always run. If the fighters gained SOME advantage - okay.

Am I missing something?

Thanks,

Joel

You get attacked, and then the smart answer is almost always to run. Saves time and life.

No, we had the same realization. Given the ways to win (If curse is lifted: player(s) with the most health, if curse is not lifted: player(s) who died last), it is NEVER rational to fight. At best, you don't lose life points compared to the others (i.e. if everyone fights), and at worst, given the amounts of zombies, you can die instantly. Whereas if you flee, at worst you stay relatively at the same level compared to the others, and at best you gain a life point while the dumbasses who fought lose theirs and might even die.

My solution to this: if the curse is not lifted, NOBODY wins. This could motivate people to fight at times to keep others alive as well, because they need the others to actually win the game (Good luck fighting 5+X zombies on your own! zombie )

A dead end room, unless you want to stay and use the room ability next turn, should be an automatic flee in everyone's mind... though 5+X (X=0) solo isn't so bad if you're health is full... but now you are close to death... stupid zombies... zombie
