Did anyone try a BIG game, using two games?
I can imagine that this game could very well scale up to, say, 8 people. Or even 10.
I ordered a second copy to try to do this. For starters, I would add in a complete monster (8 different cards at random values) + one villager card for each additional player beyond 5.
Any thoughts?

Would you mind to explain that a little further? Is the downtime to high or is the game to random with more people?

I think it's the downtime between your turns (which is where you get your money) and that nearly every tile gets put to auction.
I wasn't crazy about 5 players, either. However, some people like it with 5. If you like it with 5, then you may also like it with 6.
