I'm new to OCS and have just purchased GBII and Baltic Gap.
I don't see any Weather effects for the Mud and Limited Mud you can get in BG?
In GBII these are shown in the TEC - am I missing something, as I cannot find this in the Baltic Gap Charts?

HI Gary,
In the last errata, you can find this:
"Amend 1.6b with the following: In addition to the normal Simulcast rules, mud reduces the MA of air and ground units to zero, so the only possible movement is by rail or sea. Also wait until both players have finished checking trace supply before changing any unit modes."
Bye and good wargaming with BG!!

Thanks fot the quick reply!
I was just considering applying the Weather effects from GBII - it seems a bit drastic not to allow any movement in Mud, even on roads. And what about Limited Mud?
It won't stop me from playing what looks like a fascinating game, but it just seemed that the charts for the other weather conditions were omitted in error.

You don't have a Limited Mud but a Limited Flight as per rules:
1.6 Weather The Weather Chart determines the weather conditions for a given game turn. On most turns just two results are possible: "Flight" or "Limited Flight". Late in the campaign, there is also a chance for "Mud". 1.6a When "Limited Flight" is rolled, no air missions can be flown during Reaction and Exploitation; missions can only be flown during the Movement Phase. 1.6b The "Mud" effect is quite simple: the current turn must be simulcast (series rule 2.4). This can cause the campaign to wind down quickly in October.
+ Errata ...

A good site to know for OCS is The Gamers Archive:
http://www.gamersarchive.net/theGamers/archive/
It has the official errata etc for the games in the series as well as pdfs of the rules (both series and game specific) and a bunch of other stuff.
I also find the OCS folder on Consimworld stays pretty much on topic and is usually of some interest.
I thought that might give you some reference points for Filippo's answers.

Weather in Baltic Gap is different from that in GBII on purpose. The effects in BG were partially inspired by OCS games on Tunisia and Burma, which both have some weather turns where you basically just freeze units in place and skip the turn. I copied from these because it was a way to show the campaign winding down, which in part was due to the bad Fall weather.
That errata is important. And there are lots of other little things that have been fixed or clarified, so make sure you print out the latest errata!

Thanks for the information - I'll use the errata.
The clarification on the Weather now makes sense. Thanks for the support!

But you can intercept in limited ?

Of course they can intercept! Limited air doesn't allow the phasing side to make air attacks without the non phasing player being able to respond! That wouldn't make much sense.
