I have corresponded with the BON designer Sergio Guerri who has approved the following additional SSR for Scenario 9. Some of this was in the material he originally submitted to the publisher.
Additions to Scenario 9 Special Rules:
La Haye Sainte:
The skirmisher in the orchard is a special one-figure unit (not a reduced unit) which has no ZOC and no rear hexes. It may fire at any adjacent hex and uses the fire and morale values of the card of its parent unit. It may not attack in melee, and defends against melee attacks as an Open Order unit with a rank of 1. It defends against fire attacks as an Open Order unit with the -1 skirmisher bonus. If the skirmisher is routed AND the farm hex is not in a French ZOC, it may rejoin the parent unit (just add it to a base of the parent unit) with no ill-effect to that unit; otherwise it is eliminated if routed.
The Captured Flag event may not be played against the Orchard or the Farm hexes whilst either of them contain their original occupants. The Fall Back event may be played to allow the skirmisher to rejoin the parent unit regardless of whether the farm hex is in a French ZOC.
Sand Pit
The Rifle figure in the Sand Pit is a special one-figure unit (not a reduced unit) which has no ZOC and no rear hexes. It may fire up to two hexes in any direction and uses the fire and morale values of its own card and the Initiative of Unit Group 3. It may not attack in melee, and defends against melee attacks as an Open Order unit with a rank of 1. It defends against fire attacks as an Open Order unit.
The Captured Flag event may not be played against the Sand Pit hex while it contains the Rifle figure.

This is the last item from the BON questions I asked. HOWEVER I have recently submitted a set of answers to questions about the Event/Reaction cards, but this had to be a file and therefore needs Admin approval. So it is in the Lap of the Mods....
