Ok, so something odd happened tonight during our KiY game, and I'd like to get some other input on it.

William Yorrick was in an Other World location (forget which one, exactly), while in Arkham two characters had just been arrested (I think my first time playing AH where I seen a character get arrested in Arkham, let alone two during the same turn!) as a result of location encounters in Velma's Diner and the Newspaper. They were, of course, delayed and in the jail section of the Police Station.

Anyway, Yorrick pulled an Other World encounter card that allowed him to switch places with anybody in Arkham. He chose to switch with one of the folks delayed in the Arkham jail cell. How should we have played it?

What we did was have the delayed and arrested character go to Yorrick's position in the Other World and remain delayed. Yorrick went to that character's position in the jail cell, not delayed, and able to move out and continue his turn like normal next turn, instead of missing it, as happened to the other arrested character. Since Yorrick wasn't delayed in the Other World, we decided he wouldn't be delayed in Arkham, either, and would be free to leave the jail next turn (Deputy Dingby was just really confused to see somebody else come out of the cell the next day and stared in astonishment while Yorrick left free as a bird). Is this how anybody else would have played it?

I think you're only switching physical positions, not active states (like being delayed), so I'd say you are correct.
