Is there going to be an expansion? | The Battle for Hill 218

Owner of original 'crappy art' GtR and pleased about it.

It seems to me that 218 is ripe for an expansion and perhaps a teensy bit of deckbuilding. Does anyone know if there's going to be one?

I'd buy any expansion that pops up, as well as a new version with a new theme. Maybe a civil war or colonial version where cannons are the distance weapons and special cards were things like horseback cavalry. Just my own preference, but if a new version were to appear, I'd want it to have cards that do different stuff than 218, even if the tweaks are minor.

I've just purchased this game and straight away thought it needs an overhaul.

The main graphics are a little dated. Plus using images from WWII is a bit old hat nowadays.

The game itself is great - just needs a new (or newer) theme/look/feel/design.

For example, look at the card design used in Revolver: The Wild West Gunfighting Game. The theme is older than WWII (western, cowboys) but the card designs are just beautiful. The graphic design and illustrations just work so well.

For a war game example how about Memoir '44? Again, the graphic design and use of pictures really draws you in.

The above is my opinion, obviously, and is in no way detriment to the game itself
