at the start of this game it says after the selection of the players and kings starting regions is complete players use the secret disk to place one cab on a region
does this mean we dont put two cabs on our home region at the beginning
and start the game with no cabs in our court.
question 2
the rulebook states the player with the kings card must perform the special action but the card states you may move the king making it sound optional
which is correct please
thanks in advance for your help

1. According to the German rules you start with 2 caballeros in your home region and move one more caballero from the province to the board, using the secret disc.
2. According to the rules of Intrigue & the King the player who gets the king's card must not perform the special action of his action card. He must perform the action of the king's card, which means that he may move the king or leave him where he is.
However: According to the rules of the expansion Intrigue & the King Player's edition the players with the highest and lowest action card may choose if they want to use the special action of the played action card or those of the king's card/Intrigue card. This changed rule is meant to be used for any player numbers.

The players each start with 7 caballeros in their courts, just like in normal El Grande.
