What happens when you destroy a city your Origin marker is in?
My friend decided to destroy a city his wife was in and he was vizier of. Does this eliminate those statuses because you are no longer bound to returning to those cities (because you can't)?

It seems to me like there should be some negative effect that comes with destroying your own city (and maybe your wife )

I'd just discard the cards that don't apply anymore. One could argue if he destroyed his wife when he destroyed the city he would be Grief Stricken. But then again, if he chose to destroy the city because she was in it... whistle

I just read in the FAQ (not sure if it is official) that you cannot destroy a city that has a marker in it. It is technically occupied... hmm..
