Hi all!

I have two questions from my last session:

1. Temple Guard: "Action: Spend 1 resource to redirect the next 2 damage dealt to target unit you control to another target unit you control."
Can the unit who got the redirected damage use his savage ability? And if the damage came from a battle, but the unit who suffers the redirected damage isn't involved in it, can it use the savage ability?

2. Enraged Varghulf: Action: When this unit attacks, it gains Power equal to the total Power of target unit in the defending zone.
What does this action means? It gains power from one target unit or all from all units in the defending zone?

Thanks for the replies,
Fisha

1. Yes, the unit who gets the redirected damage can use his savage ability, if it stays alive and isn't killed by the 2 damage. It doesn't matter where the damage comes from when using the savage ability, (so also indirect damage triggers the ability and it doesn't matter whether a unit with the savage ability is involved in a battle or not) but as stated in the rulebook, not on the cards, a unit has to survive the damage to be able to use the savage ability.

2. From one target unit.

Hi,

Thx.
One more question. Can I only redirect one damage with the temple guard? E.g. between two lizardmen with 2 HP to keep both alive.

No, I think you have to redirect the 2 damage to another target unit, not 1 damage to two different ones.

Sry, the question was probably a bit ambiguous.

The situation is the following:
"A" unit 2HP
"B" unit 2HP
"A" suffers 2 damage. Can I assign only one to "B" to keep both of them alive?

(I think probably not)

No, I think you have to redirect both damage tokens to B, as it says "the next 2 damage" on the card.
