Are Property claim cards placed face up on the table in fornt of the player who won them, or are they added to the players hand of cards?

Won property cards are put into the player's hand. Doc Badluck has a way to turn them faceup, and hence make them safe from the Ladies (Queens) picking through them. Until then, they are vulnerable but hidden in your hand.
