Hallo,
I have translated the rules for Attack Deluxe with an online translator. Unfortunately, a lot still remains unclear.

1. If I lay an action marker, for example, on transport, then I may do a transport action and an action
do play (Worker Unity) or either the card or the normal transport action?

2. Can I go with a submarine in a sea zone and do a coastal attack in the same turn?

3. If I control South Africa, the south Atlantic and the North Atlantic, can I do a negotiations action with Great Britain?

4. Only tanks and airplanes may be used for a blitz action?

Thanks for your answers

Hallo Bill,

where in the rule book is located, which only airplanes and tanks may be used for the blitz action? The Rulebook says: You may also move any number of your tanks and planes from up to three regions away into the region your´re blitzing. Here one does not explain, which no other units may be used.

Regards

I found the answer to question 2 in the rule book! Only the question with the action cards remains. May the action cards be played in principle with each arbitrary action? Example: I place an action marker to mine on transport.
I Transports units of Germany into the Ukraine. Can I play for example the card "Artillery Production" now and gain 1 Artillery? And how many cards can I play in each turn?

Bill must have been thinking you asked if just planes and tanks get the special movement of 3, because you can definitely attack with other units in a Blitz (other units move 1). Blitz is attacking a single enemy territory with your adjacent forces, while the normal Move action lets you move and attack in many places.

Action cards modify the actions you've picked. So "Artillery Production" can only be used during a "Build Action" (It says "Build Action" on the bottom of the card). At the bottom of pg 7 in the English rules it says you can only play one action card when you announce the action.

And yes, Submarines may only make a coastal attack from sea zones they control at the start of the action. (pg. 8).

Hope that helps!

Hallo George,

Blitz action is now clear. Thank you. I was not clear until now how do I use the action cards?

I asked Sean Brown in an email following:

Turn 1: I place an action marker on transport. I transports units of Germany into the Ukraine. I play the card "Artillery Production" now and gain 1 Artillery. If this is so correct?

Turn 2: I place an action marker on build. I play the card "Advanced production".
I build 1 Tank unit and pay 1 fewer PP for the Tank Unit. If this is so correct?

Turn 3: I place an action marker on navigate. I go with two destroyers and an aircraft carrier into a sea zone with enemy units. I play the card pilot Sacrifice and roll 2 army dice for the carrier. If this is so correct?

His answer: correct!

Is the first example not correct?

Yes, I would say the first example is incorrect because the card says "Build Action" on it. I hope I'm not wrong about this! I don't know why it would say "Build Action" on it though, if you could play it during any action.

I asked Sean Brown: How do I use the card propaganda?

His Answer: I understand now. No, that card is a special card, and can be played when it is legal to play cards (it is not limited to the use of an action)

My next question: This is exactly the question! When may a card be legally played? Can I play a card principally always for an action?

Answer: Yes

Maybe I have put the wrong question?

I'm confused too! Could he be talking about the old expansion and not Deluxe? I don't see how Propaganda would be played any differently. (Propaganda - Pay 2 fewer PP to convert a neutral region. (Negotiate Action)).

The rules I'm seeing say (page 5): "Action cards modify actions. Action cards are used once during a specific action on the holder's turn and then discarded" page 7: "You may play one (and only one) action card when you announce an action."

I guess your next question could be, "I'm being told Propaganda says 'Negotiate Action' on it and so can only be played during a Negotiate action. Is it correct that Action cards are only played to modify the actions you chose on your player mat?"
