Hi, I'd like to get a copy of this game, but first I'd like to know wich of all versions (Matagot, Mayfair, Pegasus, etc.) has better quality components and/or most beautiful aspect.

I really would know this. Thanks!

I'm kind of partial to the 1st edition by Hans Im Glück.

The board, bits and cards are first rate, and the original artwork has come to be what players expect to see.

It is very similar in design to the Mayfair edition.

This edition is also great to play though a little smaller in all dimensions, and the bits are plastic instead of cardboard. It has exactly the same artwork on the cards, which are also a little smaller than the German edition.

You can still find copies of both editions around.

For me, who has seen many editions, Odisséia Brazilian Edition is still unbeatable

If you can find it where you are, I'd really recommend picking up the Japanese version of Modern Art called Stamps. It's simply beautiful.
