When you place Bonus Sales Markers or Reduced Price Markers in a Car Model Space, I know there is a restriction where you may place these bonus, that is:
If the quantity of your Cars in the Car Model Space is equal to 0 then no Bonus Sales Markers or Reduced Price Markers are allowed in the Car Model Space.
(So you can’t "burn" the action.)
But what if you have at least 1 of your Car in the Car Model Space??
This:
If the quantity of your Cars in the Car Model Space is equal to or more then 1 then you may place any quantity of Bonus Sales Markers and/or Reduced Price Markers in the Car Model Space.
(So you may still "burn" part of the action.)
Or this:
If the quantity of your Cars in the Car Model Space is equal to or more then 1 then the quantity of Bonus Sales Markers and/or Reduced Price Markers allowed in the Car Model Space is equal to the quantity of your Cars + 1. Exception: if you have room for just one Bonus Sales Marker or Reduced Price Marker in the Car Model Space, you may select on the Executive Decisions Display to take the stack of two Reduced Price Markers and place them in that Car Model Space only if there are not other Reduced Price Markers in the Executive Decisions Display (i.e. the two stacks of one Reduced Price Marker).
(So you can’t anymore "burn" the action.)

I don't have the rules in front of me, but we've always played that if you have a least one car in your space, you can place whatever bonus markers you want in there.
