hi,
can anyone please tell me what the rule is for moving units through a transport that is bridging in axis and allies.
can they move on and off the ship in one go or do they have to wait onbroad for one turn?
thanks, simon

Hi Simon,

I am not sure that it matters, but which version are you playing?

My hunch is that the answer is consistent across all versions: land units must spend one turn aboard the transport and are unloaded the following turn during combat movement or regular movement.

They can move on and off the ship in one go if the ship and the troops belong to the same country.

This were 'correct', while you CAN NOT surpass their 'capacity' beyond what were allowed for this amount. In other words, the SAME TRANSPORT could not exceed over any total that it were permitted to "carry", in order to 'convey' these from one place to another. It is a somewhat limited 'bridge' LIFT ability then, for however much sought access through such. You're also NOT ALLOWED to further move anything past the place they had just crossed over into, from there.
