If this were to happen, would the Black Box edition of GtR still come with the promotional cards that are currently offered with the pre-orders?

That's a very specific question, that I'm not sure I could answer at this very-unspecific-point in our ZimP:BB timeline.

My guess would be no, though, as we really wanted the promo cards to be gifts to early supporters (both KS, and early retail supporters).

In all likelihood, most of those promo items will remain exclusive to KS supporters. We might make the promo items available for separate purchase at some future date, but (for now at least) we want to make them something special for people who took the risk of backing a not-yet-existent product. Game-influencing elements (like promo expansions) are more likely to be later made available, while non-game-influencing merchandise (like pins) are more likely to remain exclusive to KS.

We'll probably follow the same strategy with the ZIMP BB.

Thanks for both of your replies (Jeremiah's and rseater's).

I will pre-order GtR now, and wait anxiously for the Zimp Kickstarter campaign.

It won't be before February, at earliest. We're working hard on making sure everything is right for the Glory to Rome kickstarter.

Yay, I've been wanting to get a copy of Zombie in My Pocket (my PnP is getting a little worse for wear) so I'm stoked to hear there'll be a black-box edition. I already backed GtR so will be looking forward to backing this one when it's started too! zombie

Huh. I wonder what that box of ZimP could be doing next to that lovely black box.
