I recently had the new redesigned map board that I found here in the forum printed out on a plastc one piece banner. Unfortunately, I got the map dimensions wrong, and the hex sides are not all uniformly even. Each hex dimension is about 22mm from top to bottom, while the sides are only about 17mm from side to side. Will this adversely affect the game play since physically a unit can move a longer distance north and south because of slightly elongated hex dimensions?
I have very little experience playing hexed wargames (and have never played this game either) so would appreciate any comments or advice.
