I have been searching the internet for a file that gives the rules in German - without any luck.

Can anyone point me to where I might find a PDF of the German rules?

Thanks much - Deb

Where can I find the English game instructions for Pompei? credited.

Hi -

Thanks, I could copy and paste that into a document, then print it out. It's a big help!

I don't actually need the instructions in German, I just wanted them in German! To practice the language, I try to play some of the language-independent games (like this one) while speaking German, and having a German set of the rules helps a lot!

Bernd, I didn't have any luck on the Amigo website - I don't know why, maybe I was spelling it wrong!

Search for Pompeji on the page. Or use the direct link: http://web.archive.org/web/20050306112146/amigo-spiele.de/up...

Yes, Pompeji is written with a "j" in German. But Amigo didn't stop there and even used the "j" for their English version rules: http://web.archive.org/web/20050306222611/amigo-spiele.de/up...

Interesting - I have the game, and of course I have the rules in English - do you think I had ever noticed that that was a "j"?!blush

No wonder spelling was not my best subject as a kid. Nor as an adult.
