I've been reading the Rules forum and got most of my question answered, but there are still some I'm unable to get.

1) Readied cards are just beyond me soblue So, in order to activate the Treasure / Boon card, you must first place them into the inventory and ready them? Only Boon cards with immediate effects are played from hand?

2) If the quest tells you to defeat the Undead monster, can you apply Repel Undead card? It says the monster attacking you is discarded, but in the quest you actually attack the monster.

3) In the thread here ( http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/520082#520082)

7. Challenge: a hero who was attacked by a monster may now initiate 1 attack on that monster(s) at the cost of 1 movement point (follow steps 1-6 above).

Is this the movement point saved from the previous turn or you can use the one from the current turn and then have less movement points?

4) I understand different versions of the rules have different interpretation of shifter cards (allowing you to move locations), will you, please, specify which rule is dominant.

Thank you in advance.

1) Sometimes and no. Each treasure or boon specifies when it can be played (hero phase or anytime). It also says if it is instant or permanent. Both boons and treasures can have any combination of those qualities.

2) The hero is attacking the monster in the quest, so the monster is not a valid target of the Repel card.

3) The movement point is saved from the previous turn.

4) These are the current official rules: Dungeoneer Rules_v2.3.pdf. I would suggest you use this rewrite as a reference: 1980s style rules for Dungeoneer.
