Can someone help me understand the availability of Luna in the U.S.?
I've seen it dry up at all the online stores, but it is still in stock at Z-Man Games. I've been waiting for it now for a couple months, but the stores haven't received any more copies. Should I continue to wait, or should I order it at a premium at the store?

But yeah I guess as Jennifer mention, try to confirm with Zev.

I was party to a conversation with Zev a couple of weeks ago. Luna is OOS at Z-Man, and there are no reprint plans.
And good luck finding it at an OLGS, it's OOS at all of the major ones, and almost all of the minor ones. It's even hard to find at B&M stores at this point. If you want it, and see a copy, buy it. Now.

Well, I took your advice and ordered a copy. (Haven't heard from Z-Man yet to confirm on reprint). The only US online retailer that I could find with a copy at a reasonable price was CCG Armory. My first time ordering from them.

Good luck to anyone else looking for a copy. Z-Man will hopefully still reprint this one sometime.
Order was refunded/canceled.

I just played it last night... in Shanghai.
I really dig this game. But it was a little much for Chinese folks more used to card games.

I really like Luna, it's a shame it isn't readily available. I think that at this point your best bet is a FLGS. Since it didn't really sell that well and isn't really that well known, hopefully somebody still has it on the shelves.

That sucks your order got canceled.
In the "for trade" section I see 3 people in the US offering it for trade. You could always make them a trade offer or even a purchase offer.

Played it again today, different group.
(Of course, I only brought two games with me to Shanghai this time)

And that would be from the same stefan, not the other stefan!
Anyway, we're now way off topic.

Am I missing something?
I mentioned I brought two games to Shanghai: 1) Luna (Stefan Feld) 2) Pergamon (Stefan Dorra)
What does changing Pergamon to Burgen (also Feld) "fix"? What's that supposed to mean? I don't get it.

How do these games SNEAK out of print? I wish in the Z-Man Newsletter they would say, "The last of our stock is hitting distribution chains. No reprint plans! Grab it if you want it."

I think it was meant to be humorous. I'm guessing Thoia likes The Castles of Burgundy

I noticed that amazon.de has copies in stock. Can someone tell me what I can expect to pay in shipping to the US? Is ordering direct from Hall Games an option? Their English site seems to be pretty limited.

this game is excellent and fairly new... I guess it suffered from lack of exposure?

I feel your pain, I have had this happen to me several times from ccgarmory. They always say they have everything in stock and even when I have asked them via their online help chat, they told me they had something in stock and I ordered it from them only to find out two weeks later.

Their English site seems to be pretty limited. Sorry - but I (Hall Games ) am not selling the English version. (I'm not selling the German version either, because I gave all my copies to a distributor ...) The rights for the English version are at Z-man. So only they are allowed to reprint the English version. But you're not the only one who is asking me - so just continue asking Z-man, maybe he finally decides to make a second edition.

If you do find the German edition and can print the English rules, you should be fine. I can't think of anything in the game that's specific to one language other than the instructions.
