Hey all -
I posted this in a thread a week or two back but I figured I'd put it on the front page too, just in case people didn't see it.
I'm compiling my own werewolf site and would love some input and submissions from outside. I'll give all appropriate credit and linkbacks as requested and am very willing to offer guest writer spots to people who want to contribute regularly.
Please check out http://www.werewolf101.com! The planned changes as of now are as follows, in case you were going to suggest something already changing:
1. The content is too mixed-together and thus not as comprehensive as I want. So I've made three sub-sites, one for each role, so that I can create guides more specific to those roles. So wolves will have their own 101, beginner, intermediate and advanced guides, as will villagers and seers. Those go live as soon as I feel I have enough content on each.
2. I have a links page, just finishing it up but it will be there.
3. I am currently working to make the main site, that is to say the non-role-specific site all about the history of the game, how to play it, variations (like Ultimate, etc) and generic strategy that applies to everyone regardless of role.
If you're interested in contributing please contact me at mattwolff@gmail.com. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you soon!

Nice site!
Could I print your advice for the teens at my library?
We play Werewolves at our teen events, and... some of them could use a little finesse.
Thanks!

Credit me and/or the site and absolutely you can, thanks for the feedback!
On another note I assume you're the same vrylakos from the Shadowfist community? Was just at Al Hege's last night playing, hands down my favorite CCG ever.

I am indeed that Shadowfist Vrylakos.
Still my fave CCG... wish I had an easier time finding players in NJ.
Hope all is well!
Printing out the Werewolf101 and making sure the website and authors are listed!
I'll see if I can send you an actual play or some reflections, though since it's a lot of teens, there's little finesse...

I just want to say that I've considered, on several occasions, doing something similar to this (and I once made a horrid attempt) so with great fervour I now inspect your site

Inspect all you'd like! But way more importantly consider contributing as well. As you've now undoubtedly seen, I'm still woefully deficient in the villager and seer sections. I keep meaning to flesh out those sections but work and a vacation that begins in 2 days have kept me from devoting any time to them.
Those sections aside, any contributions anyone would like to make are welcome. I'll credit you and you'll have the glowing satisfaction of being a part of something immortal - Werewolf 101!

My friends and I are rabid Werewolf fans. I'm sure we'd love to contribute. I just read your advanced and intermediate strategy guides. Impressive.
So what kind of content are you looking for? What versions of Werewolf do you play with?

Thanks for the kind words!
The site (for now) in concentrating solely on Are You A Werewolf, the Looney Labs edition. So nothing besides werewolves, villagers and seers. I'm certain I'll start delving into Ultimate Werewolf and the other variants eventually, but for now my purist nature is dictating I concentrate solely on the base set.
Content wise I'm not really picky. While the villager and seer sections are definitely the ones that could use the most love, I'm not opposed to more general or even werewolf articles.
If you're lost for a topic, think about your favorite aspect of the game and write about it. For example I'm personally a huge fan of the Lone Wolf survival technique. That is to say how to survive when you're the only wolf left and there's more than 6 villagers hunting you down. Maybe you're more passionate about hunting down wolves. Or something else.
The more content the better and even if there's overlapping content, new points of view will always be welcome. For example my friend Robert's "How To Be An Effective Seer" guide has different advice than I'd give, and I want people to see these differing opinions as everyone plays the game their own unique way.
So in short, I want any content you want to give. Thanks!
Matt
