Arkhamites,
So, this particular Headline Mythos Card states, The first player chooses one investigator to become Blessed and another investigator to become Cursed. (If there is only on investigator, nothing happens.)
Playing with Wendy Adams, I played it as if the first player could not choose Wendy (who still had her Elder Sign and thus cannot be Cursed), and simply ignore that part of the Headline...
Thoughts?

Thoughts? Sounds fine to me.

You resolved it such that another Investigator (not Wendy Adams) was Blessed and that Wendy Adams was Cursed.
Since Wendy Adams had an Elder Sign, the Curse had no effect so the net result was that one Investigator was Blessed and no-one had to be Cursed.
If so, that sounds fine to me.

Sorry about that ~ I may not have clear...as Wendy cannot be Cursed, I chose another investigator as it seemed as though I would be bending the rules a bit by selecting Wendy for the Curse, knowing full-well that I would simply ignore the result. Now in hindsight however, I find that there a number of these situations which you could interpret to aid the player...as opposed to the often used Arkham's Razor.

So in the end you played it such that neither effect (being Blessed or Cursed) was applied to Investigator A (Wendy Adams). Instead, Investigator B was Blessed and Investigator C was Cursed.
Sounds like you were too hard on yourself in this rules interpretation. I would not take the reading that "Wendy may not be Cursed" to mean that she cannot be selected to be Cursed.

I read it how Chris read it. You chose Wendy to be Cursed, resulting in nothing, and then giving another investigator the Blessing. This is the correct interpretation.

Thank you both! I'll have to play that game again, as things went downhill pretty rapidly after Tony had the Curse...
