I have been through my tiles about a gazillion times...and looking at the official tile guide on days of wonder site I can not for the life of me figure out how they use 4 curved winter water tiles in this scenario. Am I missing something? I have the complete set of tiles, etc.
Anyone else have this problem with this scenario?
It's not a show stopper, because I can use the green water tiles with the curves, but it takes away the "Authenticity" of the look of the game, and you have to just remember that it represents frozen water.
again, anyone else have this same issue?

According to the components "Roll Call", there should be a total of 7 curved rivers in the Eastern Front pack. You might cross-check your tiles with this list and make sure you have the right tiles.

Ah....I just found the FAQ guides over at the Days Of Wonder website and the official word for this scenario is this:
Q. Am I short some terrain hexes (original base game version)? A. The three Hill with Forest terrain hexes actually need to be Winter Forest terrain hexes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
That makes sense. Because if you use the HILL/FOREST tiles like it shows in the book you do not have enough frozen water curves to play with.
I guess I will make a printout of all the FAQ sheets for my set too.
