I can't recall exactly the highest scores I have seen so far in my ~10 plays, but I know one game had at least one person over 110.

I did have a recent game where a single ship of mine garnered 51 points. It had a speed of 13 (8 sails) and hit one of the "ribbons" (I forget the name) on the 12th and 13th space. Of course, I spent about 80% of the game just accumulating and building that ship and its route. I believe my final score in that game was only 95, but it was just enough to win.

You only score for 1 of those ribbons (the last one you hit), but still an impressive shakedown cruise!
