I do not think it means what you think it means.

Whenever you become anxious or stressed, outer purpose has taken over, and you have lost sight of your inner purpose. Your state of consciousness is primary. All else is secondary.

A Ricochet Robot like game is up on Kickstarter.
Mutant Meeples

It seems a tad expensive but an RR fanatic like me wants to see it made and needs a copy.

Ahh. I got an email about that from Kickstarter/Ted Alspach and classified it as spam. I thought it was actually selling cute meeples...

May need to check that out, I love RR.

Hrm. the boards don't look configurable like RR, so that's a negative. The catch up mechanic sounds like it might be a better alternative to Ricochet Robot's. I'll strongly consider this one.

A RR fanatic like me prefers the less garish more elegant look of RR.

A quick note on this: The boards in RR have to be configurable, because the targets for each chip are permanently attached to the board. In Mutant Meeples, the target can be at one of 306 different spots on the board...and there's two sides to the Mutant Meeples board. While it isn't apples to apples, RR gives you only 96 different configurations, but with the double-sided board there are 608 different endpoints for each of the meeples.

Further, if you grab the Mutant Meeples: Sidekicks expansion when you back on Kickstarter, you get a set of "construction/destruction" tiles that allow you to remove walls or to set up new ones, making for a virtually limitless (I only say that 'cause I haven't done the math) set of configurations for each board.

The rules for Mutant Meeples are posted at https://www.yousendit.com/sharedFolder?phi_action=app/orches...
