I see nothing in the rules that forbid you to create breakdowns with a DG unit, but maybe I missed it.

So it should be allowed, but it sounds a bit weird.

In the effects of DG mode, nothing appears about this...as for in the breakdowns section..so, for me, is allowed create BD rgt from DG units...which will be DG of course.

Waiting for the official statement

An infantry division in DG Mode can detach breakdown rgts (which will also be DG Mode).

It is odd that the rules don't seem to cover this, and that I have never seen a question about this. I suspect players have just assumed (and hopefully, assumed the correct rule!).

Thanks Alberto and John.

I have got to say OCS 4.0 is pretty damn solid, it is extremely rare to find a situation that is not covered by the rules.
