(The right one's discounted right now...)

Games Workshop are selling this (it's the third edition, right?) for $100, which I find a bit steep. But no store seems to be carrying it.

Any suggestions?

i have a copy not doing anything

as well as i think from memory 4 painted (to a rather good standard ifn i do say so myself, though they do have REALLY heavy varnishing as that is what my freind wnated) teams being; orcs, humans, undead and woodelves there might also be a few unpainted bits and bobs and some painted heroes (I know I was very pleased with my "Zug" paint job

but i guess you wont want to pay for all that as well as shipping *shrugs*

Chiming in a bit late here. I have managed to buy pretty much all of my BB stuff on Ebay for much more reasonable prices than anything found retail. At one time, I had the equivalent of three copies of the boardgame, for all intents and purposes. I sold off the third set to a friend who was interested, but I keep two full copies of the board game handy for league play and tourneys, plus I own around eleven teams total. I am still working on painting them all, and have pics of my fully painted Human and Orc teams posted here on the Geek. I have a lot more work to do to get the rest painted, but it's a hobby and there is no rush.

As an example of the deals I've found on Ebay, I picked up my first copy of the boardgame for under $50US, and have bought all of my teams for as little as $15US, all the way up to around $40US. Of course, I don't mind buying used items in this case, and you do need to be patient to get stuff this way. Over a period of about a year, I was able to get my entire collection together. I'd say I've saved at least 50% over MSRP prices overall.

Good luck!

I'm hunting teams from 4 Months, no auctions for a complete team ended below 38€....and 40€ is the price GW makes to buy a new team.

It depends on which teams you are looking for.

Some are ALWAYS pricey at auction.

It's funny how this works. Around 2003, 2004 I was buying sets for my club, and got at least 4 complete sets in the shrink with the 3rd ed ruleset for $25 on eBay. Teams went for $20-30, and I got two copies of Death Zone for less than $40 each. Now it all goes for ridiculous sums of money. It makes me wish I felt like parting with all my stuff.

I think the main thing is I don't know if I have the time to try and make a great pitch, or if I should try and purchase one. I have no problem getting individual teams.
