But that would take the fun out of exploring the mods!

Try Fairy Tale in my Pocket if you want something different.

I've had fun with many of them, really, yet haven't had the chance to play all of them.

I'd suggest just finding for the themes that you're attracted to, and starting there.

I've played a few of them. Most of the variants add some sort of twist to the game. There are also a few which that I've thought were rethemes only with very few rule changes.

I'll second the suggestions for Fairy Tale in my Pocket and Airborne in my Pocket. Those are the best two that I played. I've printed Dungeon in my Pocket and Wolfenstein in my Pocket but haven't assembled them yet. Both have themes that appeal to me but I'm not sure that either of them made major changes to the game play.

I made Star Wars in My Pocket for a gift but didn't make one for me. I always thought it looked interesting but I haven't tried it. I recall thinking that there were some clever rule changes when I looked at.

I printed and assembled Santa Claus in My House once but never could quite figure out the rulebook. It probably changes more from the base game than any of the other rethemed versions.

I also thought that Space Hulk in My Pocket looked pretty cool, but you'll have to track down the files for that one.
