1. Can you get a star for completing the two orange dishes that don't require spices?

2.Does one have to reach the Heat level "7" on these dishes by exact roll, or can you go over and still get the "7" and the star?

I'm asking because even though you can only complete one of these two dishes per player, it seems that a star is too easy to obtain if you don't have to spice the dishes, especially if you don't have to get to "7" by exact roll.

Some dishes have the star crossed over icon (no star gain). I do not think there is exception to this.

Heat 7 +.. I am not sure if this is adressed in the rules. Not very significant if players agree prior to play. Since there is no red "8" overheat - I will say yes, you may overshoot 7 with no penalty.

In the first edition of the new published version, there are no symbols for »no star receipies« on the dishes. But it is mentioned in the rules as far as I know, that you can not get a star for dishes without spice (including the crepe).

You can not go beyond 7 heat. If you are at seven and there is heat to be added it just stays on 7. So it is not really difficult to cook this, it just takes some time.

Ok, so NO star for non-spiced dishes! That is a good rule!

BTW, Christof, did you do the counter/card art on Wallenstein?
I just LOVE the art in that game!

Hi Michael

Yes I did the art of the Wallenstein material, well everthing exept the cover of the first edition of the game. The new edition is announced and I think this will look very fine.

Regards
